Science has just confirmed what we already know: the DRC is the global sanctuary of biodiversity. A study published in the journal PLOS ONE officially describes a brand new species of monkey in the Lomami National Park: the “Likweli” (Colobus congoensis).
Its peculiarities :
– Spectacular bright orange lips.
– A powerful single rallying song.
– Present only in a restricted area of 1 700 km2 protected by our eco-guards.
