Kinshasa, April 27, 2024 – A major and historic step in the fight against wildlife crime in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In the main courtroom of the Kinshasa/Gombe High Court, seven (7) sworn agents of the Congolese Institute for Nature Conservation (ICCN) took the oath as Judicial Police Officers (OPJ) with limited jurisdiction before the Public Prosecutor.
